Your account profile is where you manage your personal identity in Genie — separate from your account settings, which only cover display preferences and notifications.

Opening your profile

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of Genie, then select Profile (or go directly to /account/profile).

Update your details

Edit your display name, contact email, and avatar URL in the form. Your account also shows read-only badges for whether your email is verified, your current plan, and two-factor authentication status, plus your detected timezone.

Save or reset

Click Save to apply your changes, or Reset to discard edits and revert the form to your last saved values.
The contact email on your profile is separate from the email you use to sign in. Changing it updates where Genie reaches you (for example, billing or product notices) — it does not change your login credentials.
Genie also shows which method you originally signed in with (for example Google, GitHub, or email), based on your identity provider.

Ask Genie AI to do it for you

You don’t have to fill out the form yourself — you can ask Genie AI in any workspace chat to read or change these settings on your behalf:
  • “What’s my current display name?”
  • “Change my name to Ada Lovelace.”
  • “Switch me to dark mode.”
Genie AI can read and update your display name, contact email, avatar, and interface theme this way. It always confirms identity-related changes (name and email) with you before saving.

Credit batches

The Credit batches section lists each individual grant of credits in your account — your monthly plan allowance, any top-ups you’ve purchased, and any adjustments — with its original amount, remaining amount, status (active or expired), and expiration date (or “No expiry” where that applies). Use the pagination controls to browse older batches.

Click Sign out to end your current session on this device.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone once it completes. Make sure you no longer need any of your projects before requesting deletion.
Click Delete account, then confirm by emailing Genie support through the link provided. Once support confirms your request, your account enters a 14-day grace period — during this window you can still change your mind by contacting support to cancel. After the grace period ends, your projects, data, and connected Genie Cloud resources are permanently deleted.
