If you run through your monthly credits before your billing period renews, you can purchase a credit top-up to keep building without waiting. Top-ups are available on all paid Genie plans and are a one-time purchase — they are not a subscription.
Top-ups are not available on the Starter (free) plan. Upgrade to any paid Genie plan to unlock the ability to purchase additional credits.

How top-ups work alongside your monthly allowance

Top-up credits are added directly to your account balance and used alongside your monthly allowance. Genie draws from your total available balance — monthly credits and top-up credits together — without any distinction between the two.
Top-up credits do not expire. If you buy more than you use this month, the remainder carries forward until you use it.

How to purchase a top-up

Open Settings

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of Genie, then select Settings.

Go to Billing

In the left sidebar, select Billing to open your billing overview.

Select Add credits

Click Add credits to open the top-up panel. You’ll see all available top-up sizes alongside their prices.

Choose an amount and check out

Select the top-up size you want and complete the purchase through Stripe. Credits are added to your account immediately after payment is confirmed.

Pricing

Top-up prices are shown in euros (€) and exclude tax. The exact price per credit decreases slightly at higher top-up amounts — buying a larger bundle costs less per credit than buying smaller amounts repeatedly. Pricing is displayed live in the Billing panel when you click Add credits, so you always see the current price before committing.

Frequently asked questions

No. Credits you purchase through a top-up never expire. They remain in your account until you use them, regardless of billing cycles or plan changes.
No. Top-ups are only available on paid plans (Genie, Genie Plus, Genie Pro, and Genie Ultra). Upgrade your plan first, then purchase a top-up if you need more credits.
Your unused top-up credits remain in your account after a plan change. You can continue using them on your new plan.
Yes. You can purchase top-ups multiple times. Each purchase adds to your total credit balance immediately.
If you occasionally exceed your monthly allowance, a top-up is the most cost-effective option. If you consistently run out of credits every month, upgrading to a higher plan gives you more credits at a lower effective cost per credit than repeated top-ups.
