Every time Genie builds or updates your app — whether you’re creating it from scratch, refining a screen, or asking Genie to add a new feature — it consumes one or more credits. Credits are the unit of work in Genie: the more you build and iterate, the more credits you use.Documentation Index

Credits per plan
Each plan comes with a fixed number of credits that renew at the start of every billing period.| Plan | Monthly credits | Daily limit |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 35 | 7 per day |
| Genie | 100 | None |
| Genie Plus | 250 | None |
| Genie Pro | 400 | None |
| Genie Ultra | 600 | None |
Monthly credits reset on your billing renewal date, not on the first of the calendar month. Any unused credits from the previous period do not carry over.
The Starter daily limit
On the Starter plan, you can use a maximum of 7 credits per day, even though your monthly allowance is 35. This daily cap resets at midnight UTC. Once you hit the daily limit, Genie will not generate or update your app until the next day. If you need to work without a daily cap, upgrading to any paid Genie plan removes this restriction entirely. What counts as a credit
Each prompt you send to Genie — asking it to create, modify, or extend your app — uses at least one credit. More complex changes that require Genie to reason across multiple parts of your app may use more. The exact number is shown before you confirm each request. What happens when you run out of credits
When your monthly credit balance reaches zero, Genie pauses generating and updating your app. Your existing app continues to run and stays accessible to your users — it simply cannot be changed until your credits renew or you add more. You have two options when you run out:Wait for renewal
Your credits reset automatically at the start of your next billing period. No action needed.
Buy a top-up
Add extra credits immediately on any paid plan. Top-ups don’t expire and stack on top of your monthly allowance.
